I’ve been absent from my blog for far too long. It has been a pretty crazy month at Ignite Strategic Solutions, and I’ve been working hard to adapt to being the solo work-at-home parent. It’s taking some getting used to, but I definitely say that Sammie and I are adjusting to Daddy’s return to work quite well.
We’ve got ourselves a bit of a routine; one that lets him play and explore the world independently, all the while letting me get a few hours of focused work accomplished. It’s actually been a surprisingly smooth transition, despite teething, earaches and lack of sleep!
I love being home full time with my little boy, and having the luxury of maintaining a full time career while I do it. Honestly, ladies and gentlemen, it truly doesn’t get better than this! It may be busy, but it’s the kind of busy that gets your andrenaline pumping and makes you feel alive.
Ignite has taken off and has officially become a fully sustaining enterprise. I have amazing clients, all with different goals, dreams and needs, and it is my job to help them achieve their visions. My brain is going hard all day, and my creative juices are flowing more freely than they have in years! I feel absolutely and completely professionally fulfilled by my work, which has always been MY dream and goal.
I have the privilege of working with some of our city’s brightest entrepreneurs. Some are parents, juggling the realities of work and family. Others are young and launching themselves into the business world for the first time. All possess a passion, a drive, an entrepreneurial spirit that propels them through the challenges of business ownership.
They are inspirational.
Today, I am truly grateful for my unbelievable clients. Thank you for letting me be a part of your hopes, dreams and future. Your enthusiasm is contagious and you help me love what I do.
